AAI Policy and Specification Documents
AAI Policy
The AAI Policy document is 'exhibit 3' of the
Service Agreement
document set.
It defines concepts related to the AAI federation and establishes a firm set
of rules that all AAI participants are expected to follow. It also lays the
groundwork for the exchange of Attributes between organizations in accordance
with data protection laws.

AAI Attribute Specification
The document "AAI Attribute Specification" sets the standard for
attributes used in the SWITCHaai federation.
Version 1.2 adds three new attributes to the earlier version 1.1 (see the
changes from the earlier version).
The corresponding LDAP schema files swissedu.schema and eduperson.schema might be of use to AAI Home Organizations implementing this specification.

It introduces a generic model of an AAI as well as the

In addition, it describes how organizations can integrate their Authentication
System and User Directory in AAI. Integration methods for resources are: native
