Globally networked – physically AND personally

SWITCH is a respected member of international circles: something which is not only borne out by our participation in DANTE, but also by our membership of a large number of other non-profit organisations worldwide.

Commitment in all the different fields
Just as important for us as networks of a technical nature are the setting up and maintenance of social networks or communities. SWITCH is currently connected to the world's most important internet organisations in one way or another. We have particularly close links with DANTE, which operates of the European research network. SWITCH employees, however, have also been active members of organisations, committees, working parties and research initiatives all over the globe for many years. In this way, SWITCH makes a personal, active contribution to the vibrant further development of the "Internet Community".
