The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams is the world's biggest and most highly regarded community of security experts. SWITCH has been a member since 1998.

FIRST is the leading authority when it comes to tools, prevention methods and procedures in the field of international security incidents. It supports CERT teams in governments, organisations and educational institutions worldwide in reacting rapidly and in the appropriate manner to security incidents. Cross-border cooperation and a shared pool of knowledge are decisive factors for success within the FIRST security network.
