SWITCHcollection – to give your teaching materials that decisive dynamic edge
Compiling educational content takes up a great deal of time and effort. Using SWITCHcollection, lecturers can make sure that their investments pay off. Produced learning materials are archived on a permanent basis, added to, and made available for others to use.
Your digital learning repository
The basis for this digital learning repository is the "Learning Object Repository", a database designed especially for learning content: SWITCHcollection thus has a search function enabling teaching staff at all the participating universities not only to enter contents but also to conduct selective searches for materials. These can include scripts and also interactive learning units, media databases, image collections, test questions for lecturers and students or SWITCHcast videos.
Set for growth
Together with the universities, we are working intensively on the development of a pan-European SWITCHcollection. In this way, we wish to promote academic cooperation and allow easy access to learning resources. SWITCHcollection also offers the ideal framework for Swiss teaching staff to gain recognition for their work beyond the community boundaries.
