Ticket Description: router swiZH1 crashed

Problem Description:

Our router located at UZH has crashed.
Suspected faulty hardware - we are investigating with Cisco.
No services are affected. However HFTM and NAZ lost redundancy.

swiZH1 has been rebooted to a new software version, so far running fine.

The suspected faulty component has been replaced.
We will reboot the whole chassis for a clean state this afternoon.

Further analysis with Cisco led to suspect a hardware fault of one of the redundant RPs. The faulty component will be replaced (time TBA). During replacement, no service impact is expected.

The router recovered after the reboot.
We will look into this tomorrow morning.

At 20:45 today the router crashed again.
We re-opened the ticket and hope an other reboot will solve the problem - at least until tomorrow.

The reason of the crash was most likely a software bug.
After a reboot - everything seems to be back to normal.
