Due to maintenance work, all of our equiment at this location will shutdown.
The network of UniL-Internef will be affected.
Network traffic of SWITCH backbone will automatically rerouted via alternative links.
The SWITCH equipment at CP2 location will not be affected - network traffic to CP2 will automatically rerouted via EPFL.

From 2007-08-14 07:30 until 2007-08-14 08:00
Impact: Partial loss of connectivity
Sites/Services: EPFL, IMD, UNIL

Deltanet set the missing patch at the DWDM node in Basel.
The 10GE link between LS2 and EZ2 is up.

Deltanet replaced the 10GE module at UniL. This spare module uses a different optical channel than the original one and needs unfortunately - an additional patch at the DWDM node in Basel.
Deltanet will set this patch tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow morning Deltanet will replace the 10GE module at UniL.

SWITCH pulled out/in the 10GE modul mEZ13-c4 at ETHZ - which didn't help.
Deltanet is informed about this remaining problem.

Deltanet replaced the optical amplifier at UniL.
Most link are up again.
10GE link between LS2 and EZ2 is still down.

Pulling out/in the amplifier module didn't help.
Deltanet will install a new amplifier this afternoon.

As a side effect of the power interruption an optical amplifier is defect now.
