Community Service Hub

The Community Service Hub is part of our vision for the collective design and open distribution of digital solutions to strengthen teaching and research in Switzerland.

Benefits for all

SWITCH is the platform mediator, benefiting all stakeholders in a variety of ways.

There are three groups of stakeholders:

  • Digital solutions providers:
This stakeholder group comprises commercial providers as well as solutions providers coming directly from universities.
  • Partners:
The term ‘partner’ refers to universities that source their services via the Community Service Hub.
  • End users:
These end users are the people who actually apply the individual solutions within the universities participating in the Community Service Hub.

Why become a partner?

A user-friendly environment offering access to digital solutions is a future key to long-term academic success. This offers valuable scaling effects and a more transparent environment for all stakeholders.

  • Have a say in defining the qualitative requirements through representation on the Guidelines Board
  • Access to a steadily growing, nationwide service network with central quality assurance
  • Individual presentation of services and centralised service provisioning for end users
