Problem Description:

There is maintenance by euNetworks. This will interrupt our backbone links Z├╝rich - Basel and Basel - Bern.
It will influence the redundancy of some network services and limit the available bandwidth in the Basel area.
However - due to low netwerk traffic during the night we expect no impact on the service quality.

euNetworks informed about the reason of the delay: They wanted to move to a new cable.
When splicing started they detected an issue with the new cable and decided to switch back to the old cable.
We expect this work to be re-scheduled in the near future.
We apologize for the inconvenience this might have cased to you.

Our services are up again since 09:29.
The maintenance is not accomplished yet - though.

As a side effect of this maintenance we had routing issues with one of our upstream providers.
We have now stopped this peering and everything seems to be back to normal.
It seems like this upstream provider was affected by the maintenance of euNetworks too.

We got an update from euNetwork. They faced unexpected problems.
The interruption will last until 11:00.
We will closely monitor the impacts on the available bandwidth of the backup links of our backbone.
