Ticket Description: Scheduled fiber interruption between Bulle and Clarens

Problem Description:

There will be an emergency maintenance on Monday 17.10 affecting the fiber link between Bulle and Clarens. A fiber cable has been damaged and has to be replaced on short notice. Thanks to the availability of redundant fiber routes, we do not expect any service impacts. However, redundancy in that region will be lost during the work.

UPC informed that the repair has been accomplished.
The link is up again and has been successfully tested.
The reason of the problem was a bad splice.

UPC located the interruption. It's in a domain of a third party provider.
The repair is planned for 16:00.
During this work the other fiber of the link Bulle - Glion could be affected too.

2016-10-17 08:00
One fiber used for the bidir link Bulle - Clarens is still interrupted.
The other fiber used for the bidir link Bulle - Glion is back to normal since 03:47 this morning.
We will inform UPC.
