Ticket Description: Scheduled interruption of fibers between UZH and ZH-Airport

Problem Description:

Yesterday our monitoring system reported a increased fiber attenuation at 11:18 on the fibers between UZH Irchel and Zürich Airport.
Today we will try to locate the reason of this increase by OTDR measurements.
For these measurements we need to interrupt the links between UZH and KL.
This will influence the redundancy of Meteo Schweiz - but we expect no interruption of any service.
All traffic will be rerouted automatically.

With the help of people from Zürich Airport we located and replaced a faulty patch cable.
There was maintenance work going on in the same room - but no obvious reason for the sudden increase of the attenuation has been found.

In this context we expect some more interruptions of this fiber link.
