Send an SMS from the Web application

This is a convenient way if

• you have no e-mail client program at hand, or
• you want to send messages with up to about 600 characters instead of only 160.

If you like automatic expansion and suggestions while typing a number, then you may want to add it to your address book.

If you need to resend certain messages, then you may want to use the history function.

Non-delivery messages will be sent to the mail address specified in the attributes of your AAI account.

The admin part of the web application is only accessible for responsible people designated by the institution. It lets you

• see the statistics of SMS messages which have been sent through the web application
• specify limits per user
• add or remove other admins

Support may be given by your local postmaster. He will be able to find out quickly whether the problem is a local one. If not, he will also contact the SWITCH postmaster.
