After Installation

Installation Mac

1. Download the Client from the Download section

2. Open the Downloaded File. 

3. Move PowerFolder into your Application Folder

4. Open PowerFolder from your Application Folder

4. If you are asked to install Java SE 6 runtime, click 'Install'


4a. (click 'open' if you have the dialog below)


5. enter https://powerfolder.switch.ch as the Server URL. You can check the 'Never ask again' if you like. 

6. enter your email and your password


7. Click on 'Create Folder' to create a new Folder that will be synchronized

8. Enter a name for the new folder (maybe something more meaningful than 'test')

9. Click 'Finish'

Installation Windows

1. Download the Client from the Download section

2. Open the downloaded file

3. If you see the dialog below, just click 'Yes'

4. You might need to give access to the Windows Firewall with 'Allow access' 


5. enter https://powerfolder.switch.ch as the Server URL. You can check the 'Never ask again' if you like. 


6. enter your email and your password


7. Accept the License Agreement ('I Agree') 

8. Chose 'Automatic' and click 'Next' 


9. Wait for the installation to be finnished and click 'Finnish'.


By now you should have a PowerFolders Shortcut on your desktop. Double-click the Icon to start PowerFolder 

Linux

1. Download the Client from the Download section

2. Once the Java Client is started, follow the Mac or Windows instructions.

iOS

1. Get the App from the AppStore

2. Enter your Email as Username and the Password into the acording dialog. As Server use https://powerfolder.switch.ch

Android

1. Get the App from the PlayStore

2. Enter your Email as Username and the Password into the acording dialog. As Server use https://powerfolder.switch.ch


After Installation 

Once your done with the installation you can create a folder that will be synchronized to the server. To check, go to https://powerfolder.switch.ch and log-in to see the folder you just created. Whenever you put a file into that folder it will be synchronized to all your clients where you have PowerFolder installed.
