Questions from everyday university life
The Media WG deals with the whole range of topics that those in charge of multimedia at the Swiss universities are confronted with every day: which is the best camera for recording my lecture? How can I make sure that my multimedia contents can actually be found in the internet? What legal aspects must I bear in mind if I wish to incorporate photos in my PowerPoint presentations?
Wanted: the solution with potential for further expansion
In order to find the correct solution to this and a large number of other everyday situations, multimedia experts and those with responsibility for multimedia at the universities pool their experience in the Media WG. Twice a year, the focus here is on problems and potential use scenarios for audio and video recordings in the academic environment: first and foremost technical, legal and organisational questions, although issues of social relevance are taken into consideration too.
