Comprehensive data quality transparency

The Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW) evaluates the current status of and challenges associated with making research data quality transparent at the national level in this SWITCH Innovation Lab.

In consultation with researchers and economic experts, SATW evaluates the current status of and challenges associated with making research data quality transparent at the national level.

Data quality transparency is a fundamental part of the research data connectome vision and thus part of the Switzerland-wide linkage of research data repositories. In future, it should be possible to link research data together according to the FAIR Principles (sharing, re-use and cross-domain mix-matching). Among other things, the Innovation Lab participants focus on quality attributes related to the accessibility, authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation of research data.
