Ticket Description: SWITCH access router swiGE1 crashed

Problem Description:

The SWITCH access router swiGE1.switch.ch at the PoP UniMail, Geneva unexpectedly crashed today at 15:24. We are working together with the on site staff from the University of Geneva in order to recover the router. Estimated time of repair unknown.

The router swiGE1 has been running stable for a couple of days after the repair. Closing ticket.

The router's supervisor engine has been replaced. All services have been restored. We will closely monitor the router for the next 24 hours.

Local serial terminal connected, trying to boot using an older software image. Unfortunately the router reports a cache error. We have to replace the supervisor engine. While the access to the building is possible only during office hours this action will be performed tomorrow Thursday.

The router swiGE1 has been power-cycled. Unfortunately this action didn't recover the device.
