We live in this world of Big Data, where the more data you have the better the model. If we can find new ways to interconnect different pieces of research data, we can potentially pave the way for groundbreaking research.

SWITCH Innovation Lab
This SWITCH Innovation Lab reveals the current status of best practices from research and industry regarding linked research data. The man in charge of the project, Professor Philippe Cudré-Mauroux, also evaluated possible architectures for implementing the Research Data Connectome vision in Switzerland from the perspective of governance and technology. In future, it should be possible for repositories and the research data they contain to be linked together according to the FAIR Principles (sharing, re-use and cross-domain mix-matching).
