Ticket Description: Connections lost to University of Basel

Problem Description:

At 16:55/16:56, our interconnections with University of Basel's routers went down. The university and organizations connected through it (such as FHNW) have lost connectivity to the general Internet.

The link is up and stable since 23.12.2021 18:28. The ticket will be closed.

The main connection within the DCI has restored at 18:28. All the services are up and running.

2021-12-23 18:11
The DCI links within UniBAS and the OPN links to FHNW were reestablished at 18:07, presumably due to actions taken by Uni personnel.

The backup connection came back at 17:47, so connectivity has been restablished, albeit without redundancy for now.
