Increasing Threat to Industry and Logistics
As the industrial and logistics sector is embracing digital transformation, it is faced by a complex and ever-growing threat situation. Trends, such as connected devices, provide organised cybercrime with more opportunities to exploit vulnerabilities. Several studies show that companies in Switzerland still underestimate the risk of a cyberattack.

It was established in 1994 and was one of the first CERTs in Switzerland to be internationally recognised in 1996. The National Research and Education Network (NREN), a backbone with more than a quarter of a million active devices, and the registration of .ch and .li domain names are also among the critical infrastructures operated by SWITCH.
