Online Meetings

In the first lockdown 2020, SWITCH provided the SWITCH Online Meeting service at short notice to give Swiss universities and colleges easy access to a video conferencing tool. SWITCH Online Meeting was always designed as a temporary solution for the time of the pandemic, and in the meantime our customers have found other options for holding video conferences. This is also reflected in the usage statistics for SWITCH Online Meeting. For this reason, our Board has decided to shut down SWITCH Online Meeting at the end of December 2022.

We are aware that SWITCH Online Meeting is also used outside the universities and higher education space. For users who do not have access to university video services, we here some free and safe Swiss alternatives that are not related to SWITCH:
