|Ticket Description:||SWITCH backbone router swiBA2 unreachable|
Problem Description:The router swiBA2 at PoP IW Basel became unstable and crashed after a software upgrade. The problem started on 8.5.07 after 22:00
Since the router has been running perfectly with the older IOS image, we close the case. At any rate, we will not attempt to install the new release until we get information from Cisco about the problem that caused the crashes (and hopefully a software version with a fix).
We opened a case with our Cisco service provider about the crashes under the new software.
The router has been remotely recovered and the normal operation has been restablished.
A power-cycle will be carried out on 9.5.07 between 07:00 and 08:00
