Teaching staff at all school levels can use the potential of digitalisation to their advantage in their lessons. This is the canton of St. Gallen’s main goal in its IT education initiative. The digital further education platform Aprendo is the biggest individual project in this initiative. Access is given to all teaching staff at primary, vocational and secondary schools.

Access with the SWITCH edu-ID

Access to Aprendo is simple and secure with the SWITCH edu-ID. The universal digital ID has become the standard at Swiss universities. Over 700,000 teaching staff, researchers and students use it to access digital content. With Aprendo, another 11,000 people benefit from the universal login to further develop their digital skills on the further education platform.

The St.Gallen University of Teacher Education developed Aprendo as a digital multi-level further education service and has successfully implemented it. We would like to warmly congratulate the university on this. We are absolutely delighted that they are using the SWITCH edu-ID to tap into the full potential of digitalisation.
