For a safer Internet, .ch must stay with SWITCH

On 29 March the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) announced, that in mid-April 2016 it will launch a public tender process for the administration of .ch domain. SWITCH, which has operated the registry from the very beginning, will apply to keep this function. The foundation has made .ch one of the most secure top-level domains in the world and is confident that it will remain the best choice for Switzerland going forward.
