webinar topic
This webinar presents EASE (Educational Academic Staff Empowerment), a collaborative initiative developed by USI – Università della Svizzera italiana and the University of Bern (UniBE). From the outset, the project followed a co-creation approach: the needs and experiences of university teachers were systematically collected and used to shape the learning design and educational resources. The session will show how expertise from both institutions was combined throughout the development process, from identifying priorities to coordinating content development and video production across institutional boundaries. Participants will gain an overview of the project’s key outputs: 7 Learning Nuggets, 3 Self-Study Units, and 2 workshops designed to support digital teaching competencies. The webinar will illustrate how these resources were developed through an iterative, needs-informed process combining pedagogical expertise, practitioner perspectives, and inter-university collaboration. The speakers will also reflect on lessons learned from the partnership and discuss future plans to continue this collaboration in support of teaching innovation and academic staff development.
