The adoption of the new Federal Act on Electronic Identification Services (e-ID Act) is a decisive step for Switzerland's digital future. It lays the foundation for trustworthy digital identities that can also be used in the education sector. Switch welcomes this outcome and will link the e-ID with Switch edu-ID in future to enable seamless, secure and internationally compatible educational pathways.
