Im Auftrag der Schweizerischen Eidgenossenschaft und des Fürstentums Liechtenstein verwalten wir als sogenannte «Registry» das zentrale Register für alle Domain-Namen (Internet-Adressen) mit den Endungen .ch und .li. Mit unserer langjährigen Erfahrung gewährleisten wir Sicherheit und Stabilität. Für den Verkauf der Domain-Namen sind unsere Partner, die Registrare, zuständig.

Die Arbeit einer Registry bringt eine grosse Verantwortung mit sich, denn das DNS (Domain-Namen-System) ist eine zentrale Voraussetzung für ein funktionierendes Internet. Wir nehmen diese Verantwortung sehr ernst.

Registry Switzerland

Switch acts as the official registry under a mandate from the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM), handling the administration of domain names that end in .ch and ensuring that the Swiss Internet is secure and stable.

Registry Liechtenstein

NIC Liechtenstein is the Network Information Centre responsible for administering domain names ending in .li It performs this function on behalf of the Office for Communications of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
